- Visitors need to obtain free passes from their congressional representatives to access the Senate and House galleries when Congress is in session.

3. If driving and parking at the Capitol:
- Parking is very limited, so it's recommended to take public transportation like the Metro instead. 

4. Visiting on Sundays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Inauguration Day:
- The Capitol is closed to the public on these days.

   It is important for tour guests to arrive early at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, as the lines can get long and will need to go through security screening to enter the building. The Capitol Visitor Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. We politely inform our tour guests about the importance of arriving early and allowing time for security will help ensure you have an enjoyable and efficient visit to the U.S. Capitol.

   Planning ahead, packing light, and following the Capitol's rules and restrictions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable tour experience. Avoiding prohibited items and obtaining the necessary passes are key to making the most of a visit to this iconic building.

Our Cancellation Policy:

At Liberty Tours, we value your business and want to ensure a smooth experience. To that end, we have established the following cancellation policy:

Liberty Tours cancellation policy allows for full refunds or rescheduling with minimal fees if the cancellation is made well in advance, such as 24-48 hours before the tour date.

- Full refund for cancellations made 48+ hours in advance.
- 50% refund for cancellations 24-48 hours in advance. 
- No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, but option to reschedule for a small fee.

This allows customers flexibility while also ensuring Liberty Tours can recoup some costs for late cancellations.
